"The Village" – World Premiere of Levan Tutberidze’s Film At Seattle Film Festival - 14 05 2015

The world premiere of Levan Tutberidze’s "The Village” will be held at Seattle Film festival, USA, on May 15-16. Seattle Film Festival has been held since 1976 and is one of the most prestigious film festivals in North America.

The film tells a story of Guram - a folklore professor who suffers from an incurable disease. He travels to the highlands of Eastern Georgia to study local folklore. He is accompanied by his young wife, his assistant Nika, who has arrived from London, and Nika’s English girl-friend.

„The Village" is a winner project of 2013 GNFC competition. The actors starring in the film are: Crystal Bennet, Tornike Bziava, Misha Gomiashvili, Givi Chuguashvili, Eka Molodinashvili, Nugzar Kurashvili, Marlen Egutia, Vakhtang Chachanidze and Anastasia Menabde.
