THE GEORGIAN FILM “ANNA’S LIFE” CONTINUES TO BE SCREENED AT AUSTRIAN AND THE USA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS - 13 03 2017

A film by Nino Basilaia "Anna’s Life”, which has by far won several international awards, continues to be screened at Austrian and the USA international film festivals.

Vienna will host Let's Cee Film Festival from March 21st to 27ththis year; the SEEFest - The South East European Film Festival will be held in Los Angeles from April 26thto May 4th.

The film "Anna’s Life” will be screened as part of the major competition programme at both festivals.

The film "Anna’s Life” is a winner of the competition organized by the Georgian National Film Center, and the world premiere of the film took place at Göteborg International Film Festival, (GIFF). The film was also nominated for the Ingmar Bergman Prize.

The film had already won two international prizes – a Grand Prix at the CINEMA JOVE Film Festival and the main prize "Merit Award” at Construir Cine Film Festival. The film won a major prize at the Palma de Mallorca Film Festival and the critics' award, FIPRESCI, at the Cairo "A” class International Film Festival.

The film was awarded at the Sakhalin International Film Festival as well, where Nino Basilia won the Best Director award, and the film also collected the Best Actress prize for Eka Demetradze’s performance.
